Install the app
Free, no app store and no sign-up needed
Installing adds Plantulus to your home screen or dock. It opens in its own window, without the browser's address bar, so checking a leaf is one tap away. It still needs an internet connection to look at your photos, and it uses the same privacy policy as the website.
iPhone and iPad
- Open Plantulus in Safari.
- Tap Share (the square with an arrow pointing up). In Chrome or Edge, it's in the address bar.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add.
Android
- Open Plantulus in Chrome.
- Tap Install if a banner appears, or open the menu (the three dots) and tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Tap Install to confirm.
In Samsung Internet, open the menu and tap Add page to, then Home screen.
Computer
- Open Plantulus in Chrome or Edge.
- Click the install icon at the right of the address bar (a screen with a down arrow), or open the browser menu and look for Install Plantulus.
- Click Install.
In Safari on a Mac, choose File, then Add to Dock. Firefox on a computer can't install websites as apps, but you can bookmark Plantulus instead.
Removing the app
Remove it like any other app: on a phone, press and hold the icon and choose Remove or Uninstall. On a computer, open the app, open its menu and choose Uninstall, or drag it out of the Dock on a Mac.
