Fungal disease
Aloe Leaf Spot
Small dark spots on aloe leaves, usually caused by fungi or bacteria taking hold on leaves that stay damp.

Symptoms
- Small, round brown or black spots on the leaf surface
- A yellow ring around some spots
- Spots joining into larger dead patches as the problem spreads
What causes it
Leaf spot organisms need moisture on the leaf. Overhead watering, high humidity and crowded plants make it more likely.
What you can do
- Remove badly affected leaves with clean scissors and bin them rather than composting.
- Water the soil, not the leaves, and water in the morning so any splashes dry quickly.
- Give the plant space and good air flow; avoid crowding it against other plants.
- Water less often and only when the mix has dried out.
