Growing conditions
Snake Plant Leaf Withering
Wrinkled, drooping or browning snake plant leaves, most often caused by a watering problem.

Symptoms
- Leaves wrinkling, curling or thinning
- Leaves going soft, drooping or folding over
- Brown, dry tips or edges
What causes it
Thin, wrinkled leaves usually mean underwatering; soft, mushy bases usually mean overwatering and root rot. Cold draughts can also damage leaves.
What you can do
- Check the soil and roots before changing anything.
- If the mix is bone dry, water thoroughly and let it drain.
- If the base is soft or the roots are brown and mushy, cut away the rot and repot into dry, gritty mix.
- Keep the plant warm (above about 10 °C) and away from cold draughts.
